(I told myself not to look tired in all my pictures. Then JJ took this one the day before I was finally allowed to take a shower.)
Going home. I love how little he looks in his carseat!
Julia is mostly enjoying being a big sister. She draws lots of pictures for "Baby Dole" and tries her hardest to help out. 
The abbreviated birth story: I woke up around 3 am on Sunday with contractions. They never stopped. At 10:00 I went to the hospital, but was sent home because I wasn't actually in labor and didn't want to mess with Pitocin. At 3:45 am Monday, I made JJ take me to the hospital again. This time they admitted me. I got an epidural and Pitocin. I got all the way to the pushing point, then they had to do an emergency c-section (2:59 pm). C'est la vie! We are both happy and healthy now. And I never have to go through labor again. 
Julia understands that I have a big boo-boo on my stomach and is very careful with it. She apparently has one too and wanted to show me her band-aid.Joel is very sweet and content. Things seem easier the second time around, including my recovery from the c-section.
Sorry to those of you who I confused by post-dating my blog entries. I actually had my baby on his due date, so the ticker on the sidebar is still correct!

He is sooo cute! Matthew is Dylan's middle name too. Lindsey said, "and before you know it, he'll be addicted to video games too!" Congratulations!! (Bummer about the long labor first though!)
His hair is so long! You must have had mega heartburn! Very cute! I can't wait to see him.

Congrats!!!! Sorry you had to go through labor for nothing - again! But at least you're not pregnant anymore! I still have 2 more months and in the worst time of year too. Anyway, Joel's adorable and Julia's so funny with her boo boo!
